Updates From The Garden...

Our little garden is plugging away!  We planted back in April and I am happy to report that we now have ripe strawberries, some large green tomatoes, and the starts of some cucumbers!!  We finally put some netting over our strawberry bushes and the rabbits have been kept at bay.  The squash is roaming all over the planter and I am waiting to see some buds any day now.  I am still waiting on my zucchini and zinnias but both are showing signs of growth as well.

We water twice a day and Oliver, my son, does hourly check-ups...he really loves our garden.  Here he is eating our very first home-grown strawberry!

I just read about these summer camps being offered by Johnson and Wales.  Its a little pricey and I haven't been able to find out if spots are even still available (sorry for the spotty info. but remember I am a mom too so a lot falls by the wayside)!!  It sounds like a really cool idea and worst case you will now know for next summer so you can be first in line!
