A BIG thank you to all who came out and supported our efforts to raise money for the Sarah's House room make-over project. We raised close to $400! In addition to this money we have had some people offer their services for free. We will now have fresh paint and a beautiful picture wall with updated pictures of the residents at absolutely no cost!
I got the chance to spend some time with some of the residents this weekend at their Annual Alumni Picnic. I am always amazed when I see these young girls with their babies because they are really still babies themselves. They have never had a lot and are going to have struggles to provide for their kids so I am so happy to see all that Florence Crittenton Services does for these moms. I know it will make their lives better.
We still need a lot to really transform the room so please contact me if you would like to donate your time, money, service, furniture, or anything else!
