Buskapalooza Festival II
Apparently the first round of Buskapalooza was such a hit that they are bringing it back.  It is a street festival where tons of performers come out and do their acts.  Every street corner has something different to offer from magicians, to musicians, to dancers.  I actually did go last time and its pretty cool.  My husband and I just walked around after dinner and since it was date night we were without kids.  I kept thinking the whole time how entertained they would have been.  We will definitely head back uptown with the kids this time!
June 17th, 5:00-9:00pm
Cost: FREE but bring tipping money
For more info. click, here

Don't forget to check your local libraries and bookstores for storytimes if you want more indoor activities.  If you are willing to venture out, make sure to check the summer concert series schedules.  Also don't forget that all Charlotte-Mecklenburg spraygrounds are now open for business...take the kids to the park and don't forget their bathing suits!  For a list of Char-Meck spraygrounds click, here.
